I got a last minute booking just before Christmas 2014 for a Birmingham wedding venue. The venue is called Hotel Du Vin. The building is a landmark Victorian building built in 1884. It’s situated in the heart of Birmingham Jewellery Quarter. I turned up early so I could have a nose around and get a feel for the place before the wedding started and immediately I liked what I saw! What a truely amazing wedding venue. The hotel has a great layout and once the ceremony has finished guests can walk straight through in to the open-air courtyard with its retractable roof which can be used in any season. Not something you see everyday!
The weather isn’t a problem here
We travel far and wide. Visit a lot of fantastic venues. Consequently, we’ve seen most things a wedding venue has to offer. Therefore, we were quite surprised and rather speechless with the retractable roof! Due to the unpredictable nature of our fantastic British weather, we thought that this was a great addition. As a result of this feature, you’d never have to worry about the weather at this Birmingham wedding venue! We think that really is a top selling point to this already fantastic wedding venue.
If your looking for a quirky venue in Birmingham city centre that’s a bit different (different in a good way!) then this could be for you. Here’s a link to their site if you fancy checking it out!… https://www.hotelduvin.com/locations/birmingham/weddings/
