Football Photography Charity Match at Quorn F.C.
I volunteered do produce some football photography at a celebrity footy match at Quorn FC in aid of Jack Oldacres. He has a rare skin condition called Netherton’s Syndrome. His family needs to raise thousands of pounds to pay for a customised bathroom at their Nuneaton home, which will help make his life a lot easier.
It was great to here that so many celebrities had got behind this fantastic cause. They included Little Chris (TOWIE), Dan Osbourne (TOWIE), Dino (Capital FM), Terry Alderton (Comedian), Tubes (Soccer AM), Stevie Ritchie (X-Factor singer), Jeff Braizer (TV presenter) and Dean Gaffney (Eastenders). Furthermore, there were a few I must admit I probably didn’t recognise.
Great local support
Even though football photography isn’t a type of photography I’m familiar with, I was more than happy to help. The weather was set to be pretty pretty dismal if the weather forecast was to be believed! However, it turned out to be a nice day (apart from the odd bit of rain)! The support that the event received from the public was fantastic. So many people came that it was hard getting around with my big lens. Despite that, I had a fantastic day. I also go some great shots of the public enjoying themselves too. Not too mention the action shots of the football match itself. If you would like to see some for yourself. You can click here to view some of the pictures from the day!
So, my first attempt at football photography was a success!
If you would like to book me for some football photography… or any type of corporate event, then please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
