Hi, and welcome to Craig Hickey Photography! I’m a creative Leicester wedding photographer, covering Leicestershire, but I travel across the whole of the UK, and internationally as well.
My style is very relaxed and unobtrusive which I believe helps get the best pictures possible. Sure, I get the formal photos after the wedding ceremony, but from there onwards its my job to document your wedding as it happens, capturing all those special, fun, crazy… and drunken moments as they happen, telling the story of your big day! I pride myself on capturing the personality of your day too because I think the little quirks make up the big picture.
At the end of your wedding day, i’ll deliver outstanding imagery that you and your family will cherish for a lifetime. These amazing memories can be stored on my supplied USB or put into a beautiful, handmade wedding album of your choice.

One of the advantages of having a second photographer is we can be in two places at once! We’ll capture the groom and his groomsmen getting ready, whether they’re at home, at a hotel or down the local pub settling the nerves.
The big one. This is potentially the most important part of your day, we’ll be there to capture every unmissable moment. From the bride walking down the isle, the ring exchange to the first kiss, don’t fret – we’ve got you covered.
This is the start of your story, so it’s important to set the tone for the day. We’ll be there to catch those enthusing moments of you and your bridesmaids getting ready whilst cracking open that bottle of bubbly.
We’re in our element when you let your hair down. We love this part of the day when you, friends and family get into party mode. We will catch those spontaneous candid shots to give you a blend of beautiful pictures that tell a fuller story.
We’re an easy going bunch, so for us this part of the day is down to you. Family photos can be as formal or informal as you please. Saying that, we do recommend you pose for some casual snaps with your close family and friends.
The techy bit. During post-production, i’ll use my retouching skills to enhance your images by emphasising colours, highlights, shadows etc and removing unsightly objects. If that worries you, don’t let it. We’re rather good at this kind of stuff, so any edited images will always maintain a natural appearance.
